Hickory Tree Silkscreen Print, 2 Size Options, Unframed

This piece is a hand pulled screen print. It originally started as a relief print taken directly from the wood. That original was used to create a silkscreen, which allows for more creativity with shapes and colors.

Hickory trees can grow to reach 100 feet in height with trunks up to 7 feet wide. Because of the wood’s strength and durability, it is used to make furniture, boat paddles, tool handles, and much more. This particular Hickory tree was salvaged from Charleston, SC.
